Mosquito Repellent Air Freshener
Mosquito repellent air fresheners are easy to set up. Ensure that the filter is in contact with the liquid before capping the lid and you’re good to go!
1. Sawaday Mos-Bye ($6.90)

Features
• DEET-free
• No artificial ingredients
• Lasts for up to 2 months
Most people wouldn’t instantly associate a mosquito repellent with an air freshener. However, Sawaday came up with Mos-Bye to not only keep your home smelling fresh, but also chase mosquitoes away.
Currently, you can choose from 3 scents – chamomile, lavender and lemongrass and it can last for up to 2 months depending on your usage.
Mosquito Repellent Cream
Mosquito repellent creams are easy to use and apply. Just use it liberally like any other lotion, but make sure to try it out on a small part of your skin first in case of any allergies or sensitivities!
2. Alfresco Classic Anti Bug Bite Moisturiser ($16.00)

Features
• With fragrance
• Made of 22 essential oils
• Sustainably-sourced ingredients
The Alfresco Anti Bug Bite Moisturiser is an interesting product with dual properties – moisturising and insect repelling. Thus, you can keep yourself safe from mosquito and insect bites while your skin gets the hydration that it needs.
Its natural formula is paraben, paraffin and DEET-free, making it safe for children’s use.
Tried and tested! The moisturiser is an off-white cream with a fragrant scent that reminds me vaguely of baby powder. While it doesn’t leave a white cast, it does have a slightly oily finish after application which, by the way, isn’t too heavy or sticky!
For someone with sensitive skin, I felt that the moisturiser was gentle and soothing. It didn’t cause any negative reaction and I also hadn’t gotten any bites after taking an hour’s walk in the park. I definitely wouldn’t mind using this again when I visit the park or head for a picnic!
Note: I applied the cream liberally and while I didn’t get any bites, this could be subject to a number of other external factors such as the surroundings or weather.
